The attempt to say that Earth is flat is insane, but, in a very strange way you are saying something that is ultimately true without knowing why it is true. In the 3D world, Earth is a sphere and a globe and to claim otherwise is laughable. If you confine your observations to the same 3D reality of material consciousness, then Earth is obviously a sphere. However, light is a 4D phenomenon and etheric realm is also 4-Dimensional. I am not talking about space-time, I am talking about genuine spatial 4D. If you could see the etheric Earth in 4D, it would look like a surface.
